Do a search for an already existing CVAR, like mp_teamplay or
mp_friendlyfire
or simply search for friendlyfire. This should give you some pointing to
where the
declarations etc is at and how to get a value from a CVAR.

only good for ppl with OpenGL mode and the OpenGL fog has this nasty
problem with visible entities so thats why I want some sort of middle solution
where both OpenGL and DirectX users can see the fog and the fog wont be
interfered by the entities.
