How does Source Engine identify and otherwise keep track of objects, their locations, and their ... "layout" (i.e. if they're rotated, upside down etc) through the game? Is it, once you load a new map the previous area's objects are reset or how does that all work?
I want to know how objects are persisted so I can design my mod accordingly. Do they have unique IDs or what? Any help on this is appreciated. -- Kamran A Get Firefox!
