Thank you all for replying - I have looked into gamepanel and tried to
install it but, like most things, failed to set it up. Am I right in saying
you need to turn the dedi boxes the servers are on into web servers for this
to work properly?
Not to be cruel but this is a server op's list and not a Dell support line.
Please call your support line to resolve this issue.

Yes, the servers must be running IIS 5.0 or IIS 6.0 for game panel to work.

Just need the web services, and a few underlying bits of software if I
remember correctly (.Net for instance). Only one box has to be a web
server, then it can read the services of your other game servers. In fact,
if you have a dedicated web server already, you can install it there and
leave
no, all you need is a free copy of serverdoc. its fairly easy to setup as
well.
if you need hel you can email me or x fire me and ill help you out.
i currently have 54 game servers and at least 75% run on free versions of
serverdoc.

Sorry, seems like a bunch of computer savy people with a lot of time on

Turns out my ac converter to my power supply was fried and my soundcard

My valve hl1ds has been running HPB Bots for years... all of a sudden
last week, the Bots won't fall down when they die. Sometimes the

okay, i want to create a server where my friends who live around me can connect
to the game, either CS1.6 or CS:CZ. i know this much that i have to give the
computer which the server is going to be on a static ip, but after that i have
no idea
If I remember correctly HLTV only gave the action and no audio. Is that

No. HLTV will give both video and audio. Simply put, its basically just
like watching the game in spectating mode except you have other
functionalities that make it justifiable to be called HL_*TV*_.
