I just set up vertual server on my router and specified the port range 27015 to
27040 and wham bam thank you mam!

I've used Netgear and Linksys routers to run a server from home for years.
Although this offends some of the purists with datacenter connections or
rented servers, it meets my needs and I have a small loyal following of
happy players. Point is, I and many others have ran servers from home with
