If I had to guess, I'd say there is a chance they might accidentally fix it while changing something else, but I wouldn't count on it. The Goldsource servers, especially, are obviously not a priority. The income from a 10-year old engine can't be more than a trickle. Besides, they probably need

It even happens when you try to install game server files. It takes me about 4 times stopping and restarting the steam update command to get it to do something. It should also create the folder based upon your -game option. I Have had to manually create the dir for it to do aything.
