I'm not seeing this option again now. Is there now a possible built in cvar
for this?
Most recent attempt was after last nights update (7/14). Or is this a
client side mechanism?
Thanks,

online still...

Hi,
I thought it would be interesting for some of you since Valve never fixed
loading client side plugins. Here is DBlocker, a server side AntiCheat which
can detect the current LSS version (and various other exploits).
CSS, DoD S and TF2 are currently supported.

Can this replace KAC? I'm assuming asking for the Source would be kind
of defeat the purpose to see how LSS is defeated.

i thought it was a client side update for tf2/css/dods, since it said
'engine'
and css was the only one that had a server side change.

well initially it made my TF2 server crash lol, why is db_anti_wallhack
disabled by default? Does it take a considerable amount of cpu power to have
this setting on? i'll try it out on my css/dods server later.

I would assume that's the reason, that's the reason that KAC has their
anti wall hack disabled by default.

What do you mean by initially? With this version or an older one?
db_anti_wallhack is disabled by default because it has not been fully tested
yet and it'll also makes the CPU usage higher.

Whenever there is an engine update, it affects CSS, TF2 and DODS but it
is not required untill a mandatory update arrives to any of these games.
This time it was required only for CSS, not for TF2 and DODS so there is
no need to update your TF2 and DODS servers, untill an update arrives

Upon starting my iceworld server I now see this in console after a
connection attempt is made, as soon as the player joins a team the server
crashes with this response in console.
Warning: using WorldTwoTextureBlend on a non-displacement surface.
Support for this will go away soon.

Crash must be from something else than that because that is a mostly
harmless error. Map de_dust2 have had this for years. It's just a
texture used as displacement instead of regular brush.

until you start seeing the problem. Or note which map was running last
