Is it hlds or srcds? They are not the same thing. What mod do you run?
Does it crash at a specific time? At beginning of the map, map change,
randomly?
I run an OP4 server (still) and it crashes regularly. That is what OP4
does. Certain maps will crash the server several times a day. This will
No. It's just the current
development version and may have some unstable changes.

If you're using plugins, ask for help on SourceMod forums to help pin down

Depends, I know a few server operators who needed it for the gamemode Jailbreak
(a roleplay gamemode on several valve titles). This was ofcourse done on a
national server.
As for public servers (international) I honestly don't see the point of it. If
it's ping-based you could always find a decent
Countryfilter is a great way to alienate possible community members and
kill off the server itself. Just saying.

It would seem to me other countries would be less likely to use your

I've visited a few servers myself in other countries and the ping times do
dramatically increase. You could
always set your router to blacklist certain IP address segments.
Saul, my only gue
Main reason could be the ping, i personnaly don't hesitate a second to kick
