[hlds] log chat messages

I am having issues logging chat messages on my CS1.6 server. I have log on, mp_logmessages 1 but its still not recording any messages. However, it is recording only the admin chat logs in amxmodx/logs, no chat being recorded in cstrike/logs though. Anyone know any fixes?
