We've got some players who are unable to use unlocks on our server but have
no problems on others.

Yeah, I use cacti as well. I plot cpu usage, I average all the

I've just noticed this on windows myself. I changed the location of
where I keep my hldsupdatetool, but kept using the same command line.
I've now got:
C:\GameAdmin\HLDSUpdater\hldsupdatetool.exe
I run from that directory:
HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game tf -dir c:\valve

Yeah, I was just talking about this with some of my server regulars.
I haven't noticed the specific time it happens, but previous to the
goldrush update I saw people disconnected with that error maybe a
couple times. Post-goldrush update I've already seen it 20 times.

After the disaster that was the release, I'm quite liking the update.
I dont care about the medic achievements one way or another, and all
the morons running around as medic will die out before too long.
Goldrush is cool.
