I'd say no. I'd think a usb mic would work like usb speakers and not require a soundcard, but they sorta emulate a soundcard. At least thats how my friend's usb speakers work. As for mics, I've got a $14 labtec headset, and ppl say I come thru as clearly as on a telephone. I think this is becaus
