An infection kill used to be registered as "timer" not "medikit", is it
not now?
Although Voogru might be right in saying that the infector has to leave
the server as this may destroy the timer and TFC might fallback to the

That makes no sense, in that case its not banning for the models but the
DLL or whatever that they are packaged with.
And the word you should use is cheats - e.g "when they are bundled with
cheats".
Cheats are not hacks, and cheaters are
I bet its not too hard to patch WON versions of HLDS to accept
connections from non-authorised users, thus allowing said servers to
continue running. This however would mean that users would no longer be
issued with a GUID based on their CDKey which would be problematic.

this.
Server sends UDP "Heartbeat" to master server. Server adds the ip to
the
list (from which the UDP came from).

Is that a modem, as in phone lines?

No, it will share the work between the virtual CPUs, which in theory
will be slightly slower than using a single CPU but most likely
unnoticeable. You could however have Windows only allow it to use one of
the virtual CPUs by setting the process affinity if that is your goal
(via taskman).

The game is essentially single threaded, multiple
processors/hyperthreading will have minimal effect on performance.
Performance may increase on a multiprocessor setup in that the overall
amount of available CPU power is increased so tasks can be serviced

Please redownload the web extensions for Beta4, they contain a few
updates including a possible security loophole and HLDS webconsole fix
so it's pretty important.

already spectating when it takes down the final hp and armor of the
victim, Im assuming CS
