I dunno what the problem is, but I know it's not plugin-based as I have removed those entirely and that was not the issue. The platform is Gentoo Linux, so that shouldn't really be an issue either. I just gave up and fixed it myself. =P -tsuehpsyde On Mon, May 12, 2008 at 1:41 PM, Ronny Schedel <

I have never seen this behaviour and I run different srcds game servers since years now. It's a misconfiguration on your side and/or maybe some problem with your admin plugins. > This has been an on-going issue with the Linux version of SourceDS. I've > incorporated work-arounds to fix the iss

This has been an on-going issue with the Linux version of SourceDS. I've incorporated work-arounds to fix the issue myself. And yes, my configs are correct. They used to work fine, then randomly some time a year ago, banlists disappear on initialization (for some reason, SourceDS empties the banlis

It's not neccessary to have writeip and writeid in the server.cfg, because you don't have a benefit here. > This isn't correct. They should be in your server.cfg, but they have to > be after you load up the ban files. You should have the following lines > in your server.cfg, in the order shown: >

This isn't correct. They should be in your server.cfg, but they have to be after you load up the ban files. You should have the following lines in your server.cfg, in the order shown: exec banned_user.cfg exec banned_ip.cfg writeid writeip Graham M wrote: > Make sure that neither > > writeid >

Hee guys, I have a really strange thingy (bug?). I have multiple gameservers. 2x tf2 and 3x css. But on 1 of my Tf2 server and 1 of my css server the banlist is empty everytime. I mean, if I ban a person (through mani admin (css) and sourcemod (tf2)) they actually get banned and cant connect again
