I agree with you, it along with a server log should provide some help on
troubleshooting the issue.

I was just trying to be helpful and tell you that his crash and the
circumstances (at least from his POV) are on that video. Ignore it if you
want, but I figured it was worth an email if it was helpful to someone
trying to track down a bug.

I have used that server, and check it whenever I play myself. It is always
full, no exceptions.

Tough call to use that as an example here. As a celeb STAR_ is the reason
people would be playing on the server. Soon as he leaves so would they.

We've been getting these client crashes after the update as well. I think
they are related to the B.A.S.E. Jumper. I've looked at crash dumps
and C_TFBuffItem::SendWeaponAnim(int) is in the call stack when the server
crashed.
This points to the base jumper as the culprit. I looked at a friend's cr
I doubt it's the tide turner, otherwise we would see a lot more crashes
since players use it a lot but the crash is related to some weapon or
taunt even.
Previous crashes where clients go down but server stays up usually are
caused by someone doing something and others either see that or are n
STAR_ has a video where he is demoing the Tide Turner where this apparently
happened. He crashed (presumably on his server) on a full server and
immediately reconnected to find the server had about 10 people.
You might look at it to find clues.

While I hadn't firsthand experienced the crash, I noticed that a chunk of
players would occasionally drop off the server. So there is some form of
client crash. The new taunts are too fun to disable though (and the crash
isn't common enough to be annoying), but I hope it's going to be fixed.

I saw this on the Love and War patch day. About half the people on my
server, including myself, had their clients crash at the same time.
I have no idea what it was. There was no helpful clues on the console.
This was an unmodded server; no MM/SM.
I have not seen it happen since.

Are you allowing anything crazy broken like the new stock TF2 taunts?
Thanks,

We've been having upwards of half of our players all crash at the same time,
seemingly at random.
He have some funky plugins that might be contributing to it, so I'm curious if
others are seeing the same thing on vanilla servers as well.
