The game apparently needs direct x to work, but it isn't working with the latest version of direct x on my win 2008r2 server.
it will work with an older version like 9. Here is a link to a package that will install all the older versions: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 that will fix it. mark ------------------------------ Message: 3 Date: Tue, 21 Apr 2015 18:22:22 -0400 From: John Gibson <j...@tripwireinteractive.com> To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list <hlds@list.valvesoftware.com> Subject: Re: [hlds] re; Killing Floor 2 Early Access - Fail to Launch Message-ID: <CAE2eh2QhvU0uJiJmQueSmMDt33WXBRBo18diB_gd-r+un2=b...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" A user here, markg, had this same issue and figured out how to resolve it.
