There's a setting for that, it's disabling VAC though. My assumption is
that it's to prevent idlers, but I don't really know. Maybe they are trying
to remove reliance on it so they can trim some depreciated features from
the game. Or to prevent players like me from joining a sever, being
frustrated that the server is literally lying to me and just leaving...
