nah, that's ok. I lose interest when those involved refuse to expend
any energy and want even the simplest things done for them.

This is not a server issue.
You are trying to get better performance on your client.

dunno jordan, typically i get about 40fps better instantly with it

you're right, I keep saying something over and over even though I

Because that would be too easy.
Not to mention the fact that tons of maps have places where players
can go where the sky is visibile behind them, and if you remove the
3dsky then you greatly alter the contrast ratio between background and
player model, giving you a much easier task of picking that
well why dont you do us a favour and tell us what OTHER THAN THE SKY is affected

Not seeing things that might normaly block your view is not cheating?

right ive already done that
bind one key to turn it on and one key to turn it off. Run around the
maps flicking back and forth. Ignore the sky area.

I don't know why this has to be stated so many times, it affects MORE
than just the SKY. And in all this time of asking the same question
over and over and ignoring the answers you could have SEEN FOR
YOURSELF what is changed BESIDES the sky by simply starting your own
listen server, as we told you
ing.

heh, it would be faster for you to simply turn it on and look around
on the stock maps. The answer is obvious. But of course that would
require you to actually do something, so, by all means flame away.

can someone please (preferably from valve who actually knows whats
going on rather than making crappy assumptions) explain to me why this
is a cheat cvar. this
