Is this a pub server or LAN server? 1 instance of HLDS will work, but you'll have some scripting to do to run 4 servers from the one directory, expecially if you're running admin_mod or other add ons.
If you're running linux only, I'd suggest you subscribe and post this on the HLDS_LINUX listserver. It's for Linux only. send a plain text email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with a blank subject line, and subscribe hlds_linux as the first and only line in the body of the message.
