[hlds_linux] HL Protocols

This is a very unusual question, but does anyone know what protocol HL uses. I am asking cause I am interested in analyzing the data stream from my HLDS server with ethereal. I have found that ethereal can filter Quake II Network protocol packets, and from what I understand HL is based on the
