-- Slightly off topic, but the latest bf1942 linux beta has had some serious issues (I think this is 99% bf code, rather than linux) but a few did some serious compile tests, and found that making sure to turn off apm, and smp in uniprocessor systems, lowered the cpu usage a noticable ammount.
