This has been happening to me also. Happen twice today. As for what map it
is on.. I have no idea due to the fact that I am not playing on my server
and HLSW shows the last map that it saw and console is frozen. The only way
to kill it is to kill the process or ctrl+c.

id like to see a version available for us newbs that would like to keep our
servers monitored for the same thing. This idea is good anyway for when
there are no known bugs.

I personally use mrtg and qstat to keep player graphs. I also use the
pidfile option on the command line. You could rig a small script or crontab
that uses qstat to query the server. If no response, kill the process. Or
perhaps, if no response after two checks.

stuck in a loop. autorestart won't do you any good if the server never

Yes. I have the _exact_ same problem. 99% cpu useage.
This happens on both my boxes. 1 dual mp2000 w/RH9, and 1 dual opteron
w/FC2 Both are using the AMD binary.

No I am not on LAN with the server. Its up at the local UC. I can't figure it out it
