It has to be something configuration wise since others with less beefy machines are running the same loads. HOw did you install CentOS? di you use the minimal install and then add stuff in? I always install via minimal install and then yum install . This minimizes the crap that gets installed

I am running amxmodx. 77MB 32.4% cpu utilization on a full 20 man cs server. The system has 2GB of ram. My problem isnt how much memory its using. It is the cpu utilization. I don't believe I had this problem when the server was running the Windows OS. I will try different distros as soon as
