I want to add to this I installed win on this box (a P3) for the hell of it
and its working peechy. Infact with a FULL server of 24 players I sit at
15%CPU. Im sick of hearing people tell me this hardware needs to be retired
when I CAN RUN 4 FULL
I can understand why 32 slots aren't being listed; while I enjoy 32
slot servers they definitely are a chaotic mess of gibs and hardly a
good introduction to TF2 for poor noobs not knowing any better. Would
personally run my own servers at 24 slots to keep to the 'true' TF2
style; but would lik

i second the motion of having the cap raised to at least 25. I've had to
drop my public slots to 22 in order to have reserved slots (which is how i
pay for the server) and still having even teams when no admins are on.

Valve games have always been, in a large part, about the mods. If you
want to make your own mod, you can, if you want to use mods like AMX Mod
X to change game play, or completely change the game, that is also
something you can do, and have fun doing it without being attacked, or

I'm curious. Why would you want to 'beat the slot limit'? The gameplay
is designed for 24 or less. In fact, it plays best with even less than
24 players -- gameplay, network, strategy wise.
Why not play the game the way the developers intended?
Thank you. =)
