Hello,
does it work if we have forks and autoupdate set? Last night it seems not to
work with the update. The servers just went down and never came back.
We used srcds_run to start the forks. Any hints?
Best regards

Yes, I'm very interested in the status of the AMD64 binaries as well.

What ever happened to AMD64, valve?
The AMD64 binaries allowed hosters to use additional gpr's on the
stack.. also there are other benefits, native vsyscalls/vdso, no more
memory segmentation, high memory support (no PAE)
Can you re-release them? I found the older binaries performed

just were kind of stuck. This is not good, it should have given
version mismatch errors, and caused a lot of confusion on our end until

Yeah, tickrate 100 makes no sense. I didn't set this server up, so don't
blame me. I just am trying to fix it now that it broke. Anyways, thanks
for the great advice. It was a simple fix. After running it in gdb, I
found it was simply missing the scripts/objects.txt. Replaced it and now

Ah, good call. I read it too quickly and I didn't catch that "Start

It looks like he is using srcds_run. However, you can't use gdb with
srcds_run since you will just end up debugging the shell.

Lot of people don't know that -tickrate has no effect on TF2, some GSP are
even renting tick 100 servers and making more money.

Try using srcds_run instead of srcds_i486.
