about those lags!

Hi all,
is it possible to edit/modify the connection dialog (the dialog that shows
retrieving server info, sending client info, ect.)?
If so, where do I find the appropriate pic and is there anything I have to pay
attention on?
Thanks,
Alex

Completely uneducated guess here, but modifying a file to do with the
GUI would more than likely be detected by VAC
mechanisms/pure/consistency checks and result in you being kicked and/or
banned. If you still have your heart set on it check the VGUI folder in
your CSS dir...
Hey! Is this for making a mod?

Can we please fix the issue where the game locks up every time Steam tries
to reconnect to the servers when it's down?

Issue seems to be fixed after a clientside steam update. Guess we will
never know what actual happened and who fucked up.

As of yesterday we were also seeing this behavior, I cannot confirm if the
previous post of a client side update fixing the problem is true for us at
this point.

Means this also that smoke bouncing bug at CT spawn at de_dust is fixed?

Thanks for the reply gary i appreciate it. I did state that i am not running
ntp, i was in the past but figured it was causing issues, so it has not been
used for quite some time. Also, i am not currently running a tickless
kernel, but i have experienced this issue on tickless and ticked kernels.
how would you go about disabling that?
