My stuff has gotten rcon crashed a few times, i tried making the kick convars so high, that it'd be megaspam for them to work... but still a few get through. so i thought about shutting off rcon with an iptables rule, but i want to allow certain addresses so admins and I can still use hlsw. -A IN

All, Apologies for the long post, but I've been ripping my hair out over this for some time... I currently run 3 Left 4 Dead instances on a colocated server running Debian Lenny x86_64 with all the latest updates installed. The L4D servers all have the following installed: MetaMod:Source 1.7.1 So

I've got all my MOTDs set as just being meta refresh tags pointing to a page on a different server so I can make changes whenever I want and have them take effect instantly (and I can have a decent amount of code in it). Might be worth looking into if you change yours often. On Sat, Sep 12, 2009
