For the LOVE OF GOD... Did you even bother to read the announcement?
OBVIOUSLY all offsets has changed in the linux-package due to new
dependencies, toolchain and compiler, hence it will of course NOT WORK
until sourcemod has been patched up properly.
OnT: Very meaty patch, nice work guys!

My experience is:
- sourcemod (no matter what mix of plugins) is crashing Windows when a
player joins
- metamod without sourcemod works fine on windows (though it's a tad
useless)
- metamod on Linux doesn't load, though the servers are running fine (albeit
with reduced functionality)

The content servers show that they have capacity yet we are stuck with a
retry in 30 seconds message, either they arent accurate or we are all
downloading from the same content server at once as server ops :P

To bad you dont put energy like this in HLDS 1.6 - a game with much larger
amount of players and bugs. :/

Thank you Jason, will a similar update be released for the Episode 1 engine
as well?
Thanks a ton for this long awaited update,

Required updates for Team Fortress 2 and Day of Defeat: Source are on the way.
They should be available in about an hour.

If anyone could provide a link or email me the vpk that is causing this issue,
I would greatly appreciate it.
We corrected an issue with add-ons in Monday's update that allows models to be
overridden in coop mode (as we allowed before The Passing update). I'm
wondering if there is some sort of
Valve dosent fix anything. :P
They try to fix something and at the same time they break something and then
they dont fix it. With all updates last 15 months they broke something and
didnbt fix it.

Apparently it's both an HLDS and SRCDS issue. The only solution, at
least to my knowledge, is to revert back to older binaries. Or wait for
Valve to fix it.

Tried only coop, 4 players and then alone. Always a crash when passing
was on.

Definitely see if removing all your custom campaigns out of the addons
folder works. There have been a few issues with custom campaigns since the
original Passing update and it seems like not all of those issues have been
fixed yet.

My servers won't start the passing in co-op mode after the latest
update unless I remove all custom vpk files in the addons folder.
I hope Valve fixes this soon.

So i tried with a bunch of people to get passing on today. Some of them
hadn't played it yet so we set up a lobby, used
mm_dedicated_force_servers to get into our own servers. Every time we
connected with the passing, server crashed. All other campaigns worked fine.
It crashes after this error
Hello,
there is a big problem with L4D1 servers and the new master servers. After
some time, the L4D1 servers are not visible in the master servers anymore.
The only way to bring them back, is to restart the whole fork (we run 10
servers). We constantly monitor the new master servers and the mi
We use Sourcemod, so this is not a HLDS problem but a srcds problem.
Tried to change the sv_region with no luck. Any other suggestions?
