I'm making a few big changes to nemrun, does anyone have any requests for 2.0? Right now I've got - Fix the *third* typo that breaks -srvdir (lolol) - Remove necessity of using 'screen', use named pipes instead (but still support screen) (also more friendly for working with other scripts) -

Hanged instance detection would be nice. If Nemrun isn't doing an update, query the server with A2S_INFO every every 20 or so seconds, if it doesn't reply to the first query every second 5 times then restart. A -onhanged script would be nice as well (fire up GDB, gcore pid, quit) then restart.
