Hey,
Since yesterday a very strange error occured. After starting a server,
it loads until one point and just freezes.
[S_API FAIL] SteamAPI_Init() failed; unable to update local steamclient.
Continuing with current version anyway.
Tried updating using ./steam -command update -game cstrike
Garry's mod really has some major errors, just to mention. :)
I had those errors a couple of times, i just fixed it by making a copy of the
files, and then use the big characters.

A better version of my script: http://pastebin.com/4FCBN9H6
BUT: It doesn't help, because the files doesn't exist in lower case. :-D
Maybe it is useful for servers with the synergy mod.

On a up to date cssbeta server I am getting some minor errors when I
load the map de_inferno .
It looks like someone missed that Linux is case sensitive:
Failed to load $include VMT file (materials/TILE/TILEFLOOR018A.vmt)
Failed to load $include VMT file (materials/TILE/TILEFLOOR018A.vmt)
Failed
By the way, using this "topic".
For a couple of hours now, servers (on linux) keep freezing for 2-3
minutes, and than get fixed by themselves.
This message pops out:
"Reason: Unable to connect to Steam"
