Hi all,
After reading a mail on this list a while ago about the serverscore
system (and a plugin to show it), i've been thinking about it some, and
I have a question which some of you might be able to help me with.
Case in point, i'm running two TF2s, a Badwater 24/7 server, and an
allmaps,
Fyi, i've had 6 all maps + a 2fort server all full. These days i am happy
if i get 2 all maps server full. The time of endless pools of people are
gone i think :)
Strangely enough, the servers where i dont have quickplay on will fill up
quicker then quickplay servers simply because they are
I wouldnt worry so much. That plugin that shows reputation is a usefull tool.
Use it to check current rep and wait a week. Then check again and compare the
numbers. If there is an increase, you are ok.
I just checked yesterday and all servers had increase. Then i checked with my
steam to see
This is the same when serveradmins list same server many times with

Anna,
Yes as I said I too saw that the browser was not working. What I'm
trying to find out is how you are entering your console commands.
Because I know 100% that those work :) So please let me know exactly
what you are typing, so I can se what is wrong.
Thanks,
John

You guys are confusing different systems, here.
The scoring system you are all speaking of was there to try and thwart fake
player counts, sv_tags modifications, and other foul tactics.
It was outlined here, back in March of 2009.

Hello all,
There's a bug in the server browser right now where adding or removing bots
causes the total player count to change.
We're investigating this problem and will let you know when to expect a fix.
Right now we believe this bug only affects TF2 servers.
- Fletch

Yes, I managed to do that correctly this time... I got the pw wrong! adminsay

Previously I tried setting the filter to europe and saw no servers appear.
Setting it to all got me a list of server, though slowly and it was
incomplete.
Probably related.

How are you trying to use it specifically?

There shouldn't be a worry about having your servers impacted negatively -
even though you can take a big hit from people joining and leaving before
they break even it usually isn't enough to counter-balance your score.
There is a plugin that can tell your server's reputation and they are

The set of master servers is dynamic, you should not expect any particular ip

download.
I'm looking for server admins that would like to volunteer to put up some
servers for this hot new mod for Killing Floor that everyone is talking
about (and that has been keeping our testing servers full constantly) ;)
4920 is the correct app id to use. The versions given are not the versions for
any of the individual content depots. The API will only work for you if they're
using Steam to manage the listing and versioning of dedicated servers.
It sounds like you're looking for a web API to get the current
