The json api still gives the correct version. You can always use an auto
update tool that uses that.

I just got DoD:S and TF2 client updates.
Since the MasterServerRestart message is broken, is this a mandatory

Forgot to say it here, but I managed to update the server by using
tsocks and mounting a socks5 server on another host with better
international bandwidth
Keep in mind that if you need to use tsocks with hldsupdate in a x86_64
machine, you must get the 32-bit version of libtsocks.so (APT gives
http://tsocks.sourceforge.net/ - there is no need for steam so support
socks directly

and then it says which entity, and then it hangs.
