[hlds_linux] Common banned.cfg between two servers?

2007-04-30 Thread ]T[weety.Pulp
I want to use a common banned.cfg and listip.cfg across two physically seperate DoD and TFC servers, the general principle being if a player is a jerk in one place he's most probably a universal jerk. I suspect mounting the directory of one on the other and doing a soft link, ala ln -s /mnt/other

Please be aware that it is a setinnfo-infoline that is "detected", this infoline can be set by an abusive admin using a client-execute command. To bring the discussion back to the topic - VAC2 seems to work fine when it is running, still there are cheats that are obviously able to disable VAC2 and if it is not running it cannot detect anything. I cannot realy understand why these cheats are still working as they are around for a long time

2004-10-13 Thread ]T[weety.Pulp
The reason why i wrote this tread was because it seems to me that it is possible to have "sv_cheats" set to "1" on the client even if the server is set to "sv_cheats 0". I'm sorry I cannot test that, but maybe anyone else can. hi, well i guess you allready gave an explanation why these "cheats" are

I dont know what they did, but it works great :) Seems there isn't one single cheat out there that bypasses the new 4.20-version of cheating death - not even the modified drivers do. I read hundreds of cheat-forum-posts of kiddies crying for a CD-proof cheat - without hope it seems- everybody ist
