Doubt it since it lets the players know who is a player and who is a
bot, plus it would make the bot AI lag according to the latency and
could put more load on the server.

Probably since the update, the bot script is now breaking because of
incompatiblity issues. Check the website of the author who made the
bot script and see and he/she has an update.

Run a vanilla server and see if you get the same problems. If you
don'tm start modifying cvars 2 or 3 at a time until the errors pop up.

You can run the same amount of servers on one IP but on different
ports or on multiple IPs witht the same IP. You could run a server on
port 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. and the server won't complain, as long as
another service is not using the port.

You're running the server too high on FPS. Try -pingboost 2 and
sys_ticrate of 300 and see if that helps. Some CS server admins run
their servers around 200-500 FPS but 5500 is a lot (not sure if DoD
requires a higher ticrate) and I wouldn't doubt a CPU running at 100%
utilization from a server run
In order to reduce the amount of confusion based on time adjustments,
the server logs all events based on UTC time instead of local time,
which I think is a good idea. E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] and see

I e-mailed Alfred from Valve about modifying the FPS on the server and he said:
"Fps_max and tickrate are Source engine functionality. For CS1.6 you need
to set sys_ticrate to change the FPS of the server"
In 1.6, you can change sys_ticrate from the console and it'll change
the FPS on-the-fly. In
Every machine has a limit on the FPS that the server can run at so if
you set sys_ticrate to 500 and it won't go higher than 333, then
you're capped at 333 FPS.

Perhaps its a faulty directory, copy all your important files from
that dir to your home dir, remove the cstrike folder and update your
system again. Or you can wait for Valve to respond about it.

If you use a UP kernel, you're wasting your money on hardware that
you're not using. An SMP kernel will take advantage of the extra CPU
power such as reading from the hard disk and handling other system
daemons.
