Dear All;

Been looking Over My Firebox700 Log Reports And What's With ports
32823-32825, 36541, 36584-36586 udp, why so many hits on these ports? People
doing Trojan horse port probes? I can't imagine that many hits from so many
addresses. My Firebox is a firewall wall for freebsd, Linux, and windows
boxes.

If you don't have some type of firewall that reports this crap you have no
idea just how many people are trying to get into your server and computers.
It's really scary though most attempts are lame kiddy hacks at best.
However, this mega barrage of kiddy hacks really does a great job of hiding
the more serious threats.

Ignorance is bliss, until you find out that your computer & connection were
used to attack the White House or something like that. Just a note on the
Firebox 700 of which I was pleasantly surprised to see. There wax no added
lag to the server. I've had Firewalls that have definitely had a major
impact on the server and peoples game play.

I have people on there with pings of 20 and 30 ms amazes the hell out of me.
Even with a full server.

Sincerely

Brian
