There aren't any surveys for server unless someone gives you key
offlist. If you keep tabs to your community folks, it's pretty easy to
get a key unless you get lucky yourself

had lots of people sign up for it over the months it has been out and are
putting the keys out in phases

You'd be surprised, there are a fair amount of people hosting servers in the
private beta. Besides, there isn't much information you personally can
gather if you can't
Does this steamcmd tool even work for you?
It won't let me login with any account (which do or do not own cs:go, with
steamguard enabled or disabled), always returning this error:
Login Failure: Account Logon Denied
Failed.
Do accounts have to be approved by steam before being able to login
Do you have access to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta on the steam
account you are using?

then entering my password just hangs.
login username password
results in account logon denied, but sends me a Steam Guard email. Not very
informative.

lets me in, then afterwards
