AH there IS cmd line for the binary, i did -binary srcds_i486, didn't
realize it wanted the dir. Thanks Alfred, Micheal.
I think i'll go look around for the sysctl cmd line (probably
kern.something).

Running HL/CS under FreeBSD is very easy. You should be able to run it
as a normal user w/ minimal (if at all) permissions editing. It just
depends on how you set it up. If you ever want to take another crack at

well, i can really run cs under freeBSD but my problem is
hello guys,
im running freeBSD and serving hlds. whenever im starting the server, i
get an error message unable to create log file logging disabled. the
owner and group of cstrike/logs belongs to my username. i am currently
logged in so there is no chance that hlds is running under
10 matches
