Hallo Herr Paschke,
vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Anscheinend gab es ein Problem beim Upload
der Dateien. Wir haben diese nun nochmal ersetzt und das Dokument sollte
sich wie gewohnt öffnen lassen.

There is also the rt-timers from Ingo Molnar which can be downloaded as
a patch sets from http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/

Hi,
thx for the notice. Looks like your Kernel is optimized for 1500hz or? I
have an Debian Kernel with 1000 hz an didn`t get him going to 600 fps.
fps_max is set to 600 but server is running @ 333 fps showing rcon stats
Greetings

Allow me to contradict your statement:
$ rcontool --ip-address xxx -r xxx -p xxx -t source -c stats
CPU InOut Uptime Users FPSPlayers
I don't know if that's a 64_bit issue or an AMD vs Intel issue. I've seen
some hosting sites claim they can guarantee 500fps using AMD based systems.
I think if the binary is compiled for AMD opteron and I use opteron
hardware the bottle neck would be the kernel parameters compiled in. I'm
current
The Problem is that it`s not possibel to get 600 FPS on a 64 bit OS

Console output is from the latest cs:source install I did.
"Auto detecting CPU
Using AMD-Opteron (64 bit) Optimised binary."
The binaries available in srcds/bin/ were:
dedicated_amd.so
dedicated_i486.so
dedicated_i686.so
I also see some game hosts that spec AMD systems such as:
http://www.detoxs
How are you running an AMD-Opteron (64 bit) Optimised binary, when there is
no amd64 binary for source?
I wish Valve would make 64-bit binaries for the steam based games. Hlds runs
so much better with the amd64 binary. It's a real shame that it was dumped.

Works for me OK!
Auto detecting CPU
Using AMD-Opteron (64 bit) Optimised binary.
Server will auto-restart if there is a crash.
Updating server using Steam.
Checking bootstrapper version ...
Updating Installation

I never managed to get it to work properly under fc6 x86_64, was a lot
easier with a 32bit OS
