Check to make sure the logs directory also has rwx permissions for that
user. You cant access a directory unless you have at least rx permissions,
and you won't be able to write stuff unless you also have w permissions.

For some not-so-apparent reason, logging has stopped on my CS 1.6
server, yet I have "log on" in the server.cfg.  I put "+log on" in the
script I use to start the server, with no effect either.  This is the
message that comes up:

Unable to open logfiles under logs/xxxx

Permissions are correct, the same as the user running the server.

Any suggestions?
