Of the three horn symposiums/workshops in AZ/Las Vegas this season, only the Western U.S. Horn Symposium in Las Vegas had solo competitions. Watch for it again next fall around October/November. A.I.R. Horns in Payson AZ in January has orchestral excerpt competitions and mock auditions. Loren M
