I have the Allegro and Rondo of Otto Nicolai's 6 horn duets. I like
playin second cuz its technically funner and gets into the low range more often
than first (something i need to work on.). It gets into the low range and yet
its a quick bouncy staccatto lick, not slow.

Well I got the transposition down better than before, I'm able to do

WOW! The Brandenburgh Concerto No. 3 is fun to play with my 2 clarinet
friends. My high range is gettin better. About 40 percent to 50 percent of

Our first flute here in Buffalo won the job when at the end of her
sophomore year in college.
If you are ready, and that is the key, go for it. Today auditioning is
an art in itself, and the more experience you can get the better.

If I remember this correctly, Mark Abbott was only 18 when he won the Asst.
Principal position in Detroit. He had studied with Phil Farkas before
ending up in Detroit...Mark is still with Detroit and is a fine player.
