Hey again, I have the Allegro and Rondo of Otto Nicolai's 6 horn duets. I like playin second cuz its technically funner and gets into the low range more often than first (something i need to work on.). It gets into the low range and yet its a quick bouncy staccatto lick, not slow.

Playing seems better (especially high range) by taking a Q-tip with heavy grease (slide grease) and greasing the mpc bore and backbore. Anyone ever try this? If this is beneficial, it could be by smoothing the interior surface and keeping it nearly moisture-free with improved acoustic quality.
