I was just working on the piece Saturday morning in a lesson with Mr. Clevenger and the Pastorale is at about 40 to the dotted qaurter note. The tempo is somewhat free however and the few measures in the middle are a little faster but not much. There is no recording of the piece currently, an

Kendall Betts view of "buzzing" is to supported by myself at 100%. Had a bit time yesterday during "Falstaff" (quite delicate & challenging technique-wise), to observe things. There is no need to "develop" some special muscle strength for the embouchure. All is skill (perfectly expressed by Kendall
