Hey everyone,
Does anyone know the instrumentation to Antoine Reicha's Quintet for horn &
strings in E major, Op.106? I'm thinking of starting a group in my high school
and would like to know the other kinds of players I'd need.
Thanks,

I played a few new 8D's recently and I thought the horns seemed built well,
but the blowing characteristics were strange. Very freeblowing esp down low

I have recently played a Yamaha 668II and it was a fine horn; well made and
probably easier to play than my 6 year old 8D. But I prefer the depth of
tone on the 8D. The Yamaha is a fine horn but (to me anyway) lacks the

Hey everyone,
I'd like to know everyone's opinions on the current Conn 8Ds that the factory
is churning out. I heard they are pretty good. What do you think, good or bad?
Can they be likened to the Yamaha 668NDII?
Thanks,
