Hello, I have a Conn 8DR and can assure you that the leadpipe, first branch, and complete bell are completely rose brass. I have friends with rose brass Holton horns as well, and those are also genuine rose brass. Possibly, people were being confused because when the laquer wears off of rose

I have seen a couple Conn horns with the rose coloring peeling. I have also heard this is true from repairmen. Now, maybe Conn changed their process in the last few years? I know that people had these problems in the early 2000, or late 90s. Matthew __

Hi folks, Long time no post! Have a quick question for you. I've been booked to play first in "Solomon" next year, but I'm having trouble getting any further details. Can't get hold of a full score or parts, only vocal score. I've found "Salomo" in an excerpt book with a couple of choruses (Ho
