Immediately after my last posting, I took the trouble to look online and
found that three quarters of the citations I got lead to Wikipedia or
something derived from it. Of course, wiki had basically cribbed from
Grove, as one would expect. I did see that Paxman is selling sheet music

op.27 was made by Pohle of Hamburg. The manuscript is
in the Lippische Landesbibliothek in Detmold (Shelf
No.: Mus - n 410).

So I have written and deleted 4 replies to this so far. I am not sure why
everyone has been up in arms about this. There are many different ways to gain
mastery of the total range of the instrument. It seems as if some are writing
some methods off just because it did not work for them, or
