Check out the Boucard duet for flute and horn, Suite Champetre - it
should sound ok with violin in for flute.
Stretching the susceptible literature a bit more, there are lots of
violin duets - Pleyel wrote many - in which a horn can play either line.

I am searching for any and all duos for Horn and Violin for performances in
chamber music festival. Pieces can be classical, contemporary, or
anything in between. I can not find any and I am wondering if anyone out
there would know of something.
