Your apparent quote of President Bush, followed by a comparative reference to
Nazi Germany is truly revolting ! And truly inappropriate for this list.
How is it revolting to state a fact? By pointing out the quite
similar statements made by Bush and Hitler, Prof. Pizka is simply
Funny you should mention "Freedom Horns" - our section leader came to concert
band on Monday and announced (tongue in cheek) that we all played Freedom
Horns now and not to ever call them french horns again.

I just had all four of my wisdom teeth cut out last month, so I know exactly what
you're going through. The surgeons told me the same thing, but I knew I didn't feel up
to horn-playing after only 14 days! I waited about three weeks before I even picked up
my horn, and then I started with long to

Does anyone have any photos of horn tattoos? It sounds crazy, but I promised a
friend I would ask for her because she hasn't found anything online so far, and she
really wants a tattoo of a horn before classes start back. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks all for the great (and interesting?) tattoo pics. I've forwarded them to the
right person. While she's convinced she'll have no Dennis Brain tattoos on her
stomach, she has elected to put hers someplace fairly inconspicuous on her own person,
so that if she does come to hate it, nobody ha
As has been discussed here before, Cartman IS the horn player - the big Fourth of July
episode was his moment to shine as the one-man horn section.

I agree wholeheartedly - I sit through enough political arguments at home, let's not
bring it to the hornlist!

Uh, oh, looks like someone's been attacked with that Beagle virus making the rounds!

Hi, all, I have just a quick question - I'm currently playing mellophone for my
university's basketball band while I work on my Ph.D. (I know, it's not a chance to
play concert horn, but it works with my schedule!) - mellophone cases are large and
unwieldy, especially since I'm not a very tall p
I have Tom Varner's "Long Night Big Day" CD, and I've found it very enjoyable, if a
bit different than what I usually think of as "jazz".
