This is an invitation for all of you in attendance at the IHS to come and hear the Cincinnati Horn Connection on Wednesday, June 4, at 7:00 PM, right before the American Horn Quartet Concert. Our group is made up of professionals, amateurs and ADVANCED students. Our program consists of completely original and unheard compositions and arrangements, which are done by two of our members. We will have a world premiere of a work by Raymond Chase (a professional pilot and hornist) called Paradigm Shift. It is his reaction as a pilot to 9/11 and is written for eight horns, (we will use sixteen) percussion and CD. Our arranger, Dick Meyer, has been hailed by several well known professional horn players as extremely gifted.
I can't give away any more, but I promise you a variety of very interesting music. Come and join us.
