My understanding has always been that Giard C1 was his. However the current
Giard C cup is different from mine (about 30 years old) which has
(apparently) very straight sides and is quite thin. It is so thin that
(with the rime off) it will ring like a bell.

that Atkinson makes several versions at different
price levels and the cheaper ones may be somewhat erratic. While I think
care should be exercised, my overall impression of the one horn was good.
