But the design is not new. Lehmann in Hamburg made similar horns with the long changing valve in the middle, early as in the 1920ies. It is a compensating horn. Off course, the design is not corresponding with the eszhetic demands by hornplayers who are used to Knopf, Alex, Schmidt, Conn, etc.
