Greetings, The Avatar Brass and Grand Valley State University (GVSU) would like to invite you to a masterclass with <B>American Trumpet Virtuoso Stephen Burns</B>. The class takes place on Tuesday, October 7 2003 at the Van Solkema Recital Hall on the GVSU Allendale Campus. Admission and parking will be <I>free of charge</I>. The class will feature Mr. Burns working with students from the studios of Professors Richard Stoelzel and Justin Emmerich, and will also include a performance of the O. Boehme Trumpet Sextet with the Avatar Brass Quintet featuring Mr. Burns as soloist. This special event kicks off the new <B>Avatar Brass Master Series</B> which features prominent brass artists in recital and masterclass settings throughout the year at GVSU.
