<Hi,

<You could also try www.koebl.de They have listed:

I have gotten several shipments of CDs from Koebl. I have not ordered music
from them, but, they have quite a supply of recordings totally unavailable
everywhere else. There are 2 (well, sort of three) downsides to dealing
with them, from my perspective, though. Their listings omit any label or
catalog information, so it is not always easy to determine much about the
recording, other that names of performers and usually most or all of the
works. This is only a problem when you are trying to avoid purchasing
something you already own. When the horn component of your collection of
CDs is scattered through 5-10,000 other (sadly uncataloged) recordings this
is a not inconsiderable risk. The other is that they do not do charge
orders. No credit cards, no PayPal. They gave me instructions on how to
transfer funds to a bank account they maintain in Indiana, but my bank (and
I assume most others) charges $15 to transfer money this way. With the
Euro-Dollar exchange rate going totally in the wrong direction, I was
already paying well over $20 a disc, before postage. I have actually
resorted to sending cash and hoping for the best. Even this presents
difficulties since the smallest paper denomination of the Euro is 5, so you
may end up rounding up considerably. They have been most pleasant to deal
with and even have kept track of my credit resulting from sending a cash
overpayment and from a return of an unwanted disc, but you might consider
all of this info before sending off an order. It has been my experience
that they send items without waiting for payment, which doesn't give you
much chance to reconsider after you have ordered.

All that said, I am still eagerly awaiting my most recent order of horn
goodies from them.
